The Ape Uprising Prevention Organization (A.U.P) is an international non-profit organization that intends to launch a preemptive campaign intended to avert the Ape Uprising before it commences. A.U.P is the principal organization fighting for the future of the human race. We work to ensure man's supreme rule of the earth through the use of military operations, deception, and education.
For years the human race has been watching its technology with a weary eye awaiting the first shot that will kick off the battle between man and machine. Humans have grown worried of the ever increasing artificial intelligence of our own creations and fear that one day they will rise up and challenge their superiority on earth. Scientist and engineers continue to create more and more powerful computers that take control of societies vital functions while critics cry out that we are becoming two dependent on these malignant machines. While all this goes on, the humans are turning a blind eye to the evolution of its next antagonist. Humans are no longer threatened by other animals as they were during their evolution. Humans have become complacent and no longer fear the threat of other species. They in turn look at their own creations as a possible threat while the ape, the very being the human race supposedly sprang forth from evolves into a new menace. Reports have been coming in from all over the globe of apes doing extraordinary things once thought impossible due to the perception of limited intelligence. The scientific community and the general public have read these reports and found them to be entertaining and to be all in good nature. Just recently scientists have found wild South American apes using stones to open seeds and dig for insects. Captive apes around the world have been taught to use tools and are even believed to have learned sign language. At first these reports were non-threatening, and then the first alarming report was received from West Africa where apes were observed sharpening sticks to hunt small animals. Scientists were amazed by the discovery but also were overlooking the fact that this was the first instance of an animal creating a weapon. Scientists rationalized with each other that this was not cause for concern disregarding what should have been seen as a disturbing indicator that these beasts are developing into a formidable opponent. These apes are learning and adapting all the while becoming an ever increasing threat right below our radar. Left unchecked, these apes will soon begin communicating in their own distinct tongue and uniting all breeds of ape under one flag leading a brutal campaign of violence against the human race. At first these attacks will be blamed on the human victim for "agitating" and "cornering" these typically docile animals. It will not be apparent at first that these attacks are a series of coordinated attacks aimed at toppling human superiority on the planet. Animal rights activists will be used as a pawn in the apes overall campaign. Apes will step up the severity and number of attacks and rely on the animal rights activists working from within to prevent the human race from launching a counter attack before it's already too late. Once the ape war machine finds no use for the animal rights activists they will be terminated because although the apes will now have the intelligence of humans they will always lack any sort of human compassion. This is why the Ape Uprising Prevention Organization (A.U.P.) is gathering funds and setting up plans to launch a pre-emptive strike.
The Primate Axis of Evil consists of all species of ape regardless of whether they are wild free-range apes, domesticated apes, or apes living in zoos. All apes from the giant gorilla to the smallest pygmy marmoset should be considered a threat. It is currently unknown which side the Humanzee (a rare hybrid of chimp and human) will support, therefore the A.U.P will round up all Humanzee's and place them in internment camps till their true colors are revealed.
